NOTE: "Challenge Groups" are groups of challenges, often meant to be completed at a specific location or are related in some other way. They are not challenges meant to be completed by groups of people. Word order matters!

Creating a Challenge Group

  1. Open the side menu to access the [Admin] area.
  2. Then tap on [Challenges].
  3. Tap on the (+) button, then select [Group].
  4. Tap on the newly created Challenge Group at the bottom of the list. Think of it as a folder where the actionable challenges will reside.


Editing the Main Challenge Group Details

  1. This will bring you into the Challenge Group's list, with its main details at the top. Click on the details.
    1. Enter a title.
    2. Enter a text description explaining why these challenges are grouped together. How are they related? You may also want to make it clear if the challenges have to be completed in order -- players will be able to find out for themselves, but it's good practice to let them know!
    3. (Optional) If you'd like to display an image, enter the URL of an image that is publicly hosted online or upload your own!
      • Enter the aspect ratio of the image. Aspect ratio = image width/image height. For example, a 1024x1024 size image would have an aspect ratio of 1, while a 1024x512 size image would have an aspect ratio of 2, etc.
    4. By default, the box will NOT be checked to "Complete in any order." If you would like for all of the sub challenges to be accessible from the beginning (an unordered Challenge Group), check this box. Otherwise, only the first sub challenge will be accessible from the beginning, and players must complete it to unlock the next sub challenge (ordered Challenge Group).
    5. By default, the box will be checked to "Use event start and end dates." If you would like for this specific challenge not to appear until a certain date and time or to disappear by a certain date and time, you may set a start and end time that's different from the event.
  2. Then tap the [UPDATE] button.
  3. This will update the Challenge Group details in both the Challenge Group's list and the main Challenges list in the event. 


Adding Sub Challenges to the Challenge Group

  1. You'll now need to add your desired combination of other challenges within this Challenge Group.
  2. Tap on the (+) button, then select the first Challenge Type you would like to add.
  3. From here, the process is much the same as adding an individual challenge of that type. Please refer to our articles for each individual Challenge Type if you need more assistance:
  4. Remember to tap [UPDATE] often -- perhaps after you finish entering in each challenge -- so that you don't risk losing work. You never know when your internet connection will cut out!
  5. You can always tap the [<--] button to return to the main Challenge list.
