  1. Get in touch with an Eventzee representative to help create your event first: sales@eventzeeapp.com
  2. Make sure you've downloaded our app and have created an account:
  3. Have the following information ready to create your event:
    • Eventzee Account Email
    • Placeholder Event Name
  4. Once the event has been created, we will give you a code you can use to join the event.


How to Edit Event Details

  1. Open the side menu and tap on [My Events].
  2. Tap on the [Join Event] plus button at the top, then enter the code given to you.
  3. Now that you've joined your event, you should see a new blue [Admin] button in the side menu.
  4. Once you enter the Admin area, open the side menu and tap [Event] to manage the details.

General

  1. Enter an event title.
  2. Enter a text description explaining what the event is about.
  3. Upload a 1024x500 cover photo for the event.


Features

  • Disable Group Chat - this hides the entire Chat Tab in the Social area.
  • Disable Feed - this hides the entire Feed Tab in the Social area AND will not save any photos or videos from the event.
  • Hide Feed - this only hide the entire Feed Tab in the Social area, but will still save all photos and videos to User Media, which can be viewed in a Slideshow.
  • Hide Leaderboard - this hides the entire Leaderboard Tab in the Social area, but allows admins to see the total scores in the admin area.
  • Leaderboard Size - this limits the Leaderboard to only show the top N scores.
  • Random Challenge Order - this will scramble the order of the challenges for each player.


Availability

  1. Tap on the Calendar Icon.
  2. Set the date and time the event should start.
  3. Set the date and time the event should end.

Note - the date and time shown is local to your current location.


Share

This is the information people will see when players share the event by text, email, etc.

  1. Enter the title of the share message.
  2. Enter a text description of the share message.
  3. Enter the URL the share message should link to.


Leaderboard Banner

  1. (Optional) If you'd like to display an image at the top of the leaderboard, upload an image here.
  2. Adjust the aspect ratio of the image to preview how it will appear in the app.


Join QR Codes

  1. Tap [ADD QR CODE] to create a new code
  2. Enter the code you want players to type in order to join the event.
    • Codes are case sensitive. You may add additional codes for flexibility, if desired.
  3. (Optional) Alternatively, players may also scan the QR code to join the event quickly.
    • To download or share the QR code from the Mobile App, tap and hold the QR code image until you are prompted to save the image.
    • If using the Web App, you can click [Download] to download the file onto your computer.


Save Changes

  1. Once you're all done filling out the details for your event, tap the blue [UPDATE] button at the very bottom to save all your changes.


WARNING - RESET PLAYER DATA!

  • Using this option will clear all the event data, including everyone's progress on their challenges and all content from the Feed, Chat and Leaderboard.
  • This will allow you to test all your event challenges using the app and then reset everything before the event actually goes live.
  • DO NOT USE THIS OPTION IF AN EVENT HAS ALREADY STARTED!
  • NOTE - Using this option will NOT reset any bonus timers for quizzes, but rest assured they will still work for players who are completing the quiz for the first time on their device! If you would like to verify that the timer is still working after resetting the event, please uninstall and reinstall the app fresh, then login to your account and try to start the quiz again.
