If you're organizing an event to promote local businesses, you may want to offer discounts to those that participate in your event. While this can be as simple as telling players to show store employees a specific badge in the app, you may want a way to track the discounts that were used.


To allow for this, we've integrated a simple voucher system in the Admin Tools. Here's a walkthrough of how to use it:


Activating Voucher Code Awarding

  1. Create a badge for your desired behavior -- if you need to learn how to do that, visit this link: Eventzee App - [Badges] How to Create Badges.
  2. While editing the badge, scroll to the section titled "Earn Voucher".
  3. Tap the checkbox next to "Has Voucher".
  4. Tap the textbox and type in the maximum number of voucher codes you'd like to be awarded.
    1. If the app has awarded the maximum number of codes, any players who earn the badge afterwards will just see the badge popup without a code.
  5. Tap [Done].
  6. Scroll to the bottom and tap [Update].



What Your Event Participants See

  1. After meeting the requirements to earn the badge, your participants will see the usual popup letting them know, but this time it will have the randomly-generated voucher code on the bottom.
  2. If they ever need to see the code again, they can always navigate back to it by tapping on the hamburger menu in the top left corner --> [My Badges] --> then tap on the badge with the voucher code.



Validating Vouchers

  1. Open the side menu to access the [Admin] area.
  2. Scroll down and tap on [Validate Badge Voucher].
  3. Enter in the voucher code to validate, and tap [Check].
  4. You should see a Success popup shortly afterwards.



Exporting Voucher Data

  1. Voucher Data is added to the [Badges] tab of the [Export] menu. They will appear as new columns on the right as they are added.
