There are a few different ways you can setup badges to allow players to earn them:

  • Reaching a specific score on the leaderboard
  • Completing X number of challenges overall or specific challenge types (photo, video, etc.)
  • Completing specific challenges or challenge groups

Creating Badges

  1. Open the side menu to access the [Admin] area.
  2. Open the Admin area's side menu to tap on [Badges].
  3. Tap on the (+) button, then select the newly created badge in the list.
  4. Start by entering the badge title and the description, which should tell the player how to earn this badge.

Setup Locked Image

If you would prefer for players to be able to preview the badge they can earn before they complete the requirement, then you can upload your badge image below by tapping on the [Upload] button. It should be a square image no larger than 1024x1024.

Setup Success Message

Once the badge is earned by the player, you can change what text is displayed on the badges pop up to congratulate them. It's also a good idea to reiterate the requirements in the congratulation message so they know what they did to earn the badge. Some event hosts like to award players earning certain badges and can include additional information on where to go to collect their prize or what coupon code to enter, etc.


Setup Badge Image to Reveal

If you decided to keep the badge images hidden until players meet the requirements, here is where you would upload your badge. It should be a square image no larger than 1024x1024.


GOAL #1: Reach Specific Leaderboard Score

If you want players to unlock this badge by earning a specific overall score on the leaderboard, you can check this box and enter the required score below. Then make sure to scroll to the bottom and tap [Update] to save your changes!


GOAL #2: Complete X Number of Challenges

If you want players to unlock this badge by completing a certain number of challenges of any type, you can check this box and enter the required number below. Then make sure to scroll to the bottom and tap [Update] to save your changes!


GOAL #3: Complete Specific Challenges

If you want players to unlock this badge by completing specific challenges, you can check this box and then select the challenges drop down menu to select all the challenges that should be completed to earn this badge. Then enter the number of challenges selected from the list. So if you selected 3 challenges, you should enter 3 into the box. However this also gives you the flexibility to say, "If at least 3 out of these 5 challenges are completed, then award this badge." if you wanted to enter a lower number than selected.


NOTE - However if you want to award a badge for completing all the challenges in a single group, select the group like the example below and enter the number "1", as it considers it one whole group of challenges. If set incorrectly, the badge will not be awarded.


 Then make sure to scroll to the bottom and tap [Update] to save your changes!


GOAL #4: Complete X Number of Specific Challenge Types

If you want players to unlock this badge by completing a certain number of specific challenges by type, you can check this box and enter the required number for each type below. Then make sure to scroll to the bottom and tap [Update] to save your changes!
