This area displays a list of all the players who have joined your event! Use the search bar at the top to search for a specific player by username. Clicking on the pencil icon next to each player will allow you to see a list of the player's challenge progress and which ones have been completed so far. From here you can undo any challenges that have submissions that require approval and kick them back into the Review list. You can also add overall bonus points to any player's total score.

Managing Players

  1. Navigate to the Admin Portal. If you need a refresher on how to do that, check out How to Access the Admin Portal.
  2. Click on [Players].

Adding Bonus Points to the player's overall point total

  1. Click on the [Edit] button (a pencil icon) next to any player's name.
  2. Under Bonus Points, type in the number of points you would like to add.
  3. Click [Update] to save your change.

If you would like to add more bonus points, simply add them to the previous number. For example, if you gave a player 10 bonus points, and would like to give them 10 more, change the number to 20 and click [Update]. This was designed so you always know the total Bonus Points that were directly added to a player's point total.

Kicking Submissions Back into Review

If a challenge was accidentally approved or the wrong score was given, you can always kick the challenge back to the review list so that it can be reviewed again.

  1. Click on the [Edit] button (a pencil icon) next to any player's name.
  2. Under Progress, search for the challenge that you would like to kick back into review.
  3. Click the [Arrow] icon on the green "Approved" tag.
  4. Click [Okay] on the confirmation pop up.
  5. Now the submission should reappear at the top of the Reviews list.

Completing a Challenge on Behalf of a Player

Sometimes a player's connection to data or wi-fi may be weak or nonexistent at certain locations while out and about. This is particularly an issue for GPS, QR, Route, and Explore challenges, as they require players to be at a specific location to complete the challenge. If this comes up during your event, you have the option of marking any challenges of those types as complete for the player.

  1. Click on the [Edit] button (a pencil icon) next to any player's name.
  2. Under Progress, search for the challenge that you would like to mark as complete.
  3. Click the [Wrench] icon on the orange "Make Completed" tag.
  4. Click [Okay] on the confirmation pop up.
  5. Now the challenge should be complete for the player.

Removing a Player from the Event

If a player is causing trouble in your event, you may wish to remove them. You can use the [REMOVE PLAYER FROM THIS EVENT!] button at the very bottom, which will remove them from your event and delete all of their submissions.

Sending Messages to a Specific Player

  1. Search for the player's username in the search bar at the top or scroll until you find the player.
  2. Click on the [Message] icon next to the player's name.
  3. This will open a new message with that player. Click to type your message at the bottom, then click the paper airplane [Arrow] icon to send.
  4. This new conversation will now appear in the [Messages] area in the admin tool.
